A weekend farm program for children ages 6-13 at New Village Farm. This program runs on Saturdays from 9:00am-1:00pm. Sign up now on a month-long or drop-in basis.

The Weekend Circle is a program where children come together to grow, play, and learn alongside the land, animals, and each other. Free play, farm work, and creative exploration form the heart of this program designed to foster resilience, curiosity, and a deep sense of belonging.​​

Activities & Themes:

Weekend Circle flows with the natural rhythms of the land. Each season brings its own magic, whether we’re pressing fresh apple cider in the fall or weaving dandelion crowns in the spring. Every day, children move through a balance of farming, free-play, and learning circles, allowing them to engage deeply with both the farm and each other. Activities are guided by the season, the weather, and the unique energy of each group, creating a grounded and joyful experience.

Daily Flow

No two days are the same, though the flow of the day remains constant.  Our days are a balance between farm driven projects, wilderness exploration, and kid-driven play. Projects include construction, carpentry, nature crafts, handwork, cooking, etc.

Registration Details​

• The price for a 4 week session is $250.

• The price for a drop-in day is $65. 

• If you join in the middle of a session, we will always prorate the price, so you'll only pay for what you attend.

• Sibling discount: After signing up your first child, we offer a 10% sibling discount for subsequent siblings.

• We automatically offer two different payment plan options. If those don't suit your needs, we can always create a personally tailored payment plan. Just reach out to newvillagefarmprograms@gmail.com to arrange details.

Snow Days

Again, we generally follow the Champlain Valley School District’s snow day policy. If there are more than 3 canceled snow days in a semester, we will offer a makeup day.

Sick Days

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds for sick days. It might be possible to schedule a makeup day for your child. Please get in touch with us!

Safety

We will educate the children in safe farm conduct around poisonous plants, farm equipment, electric fences, and the animals. New Village Farm reserves the right to terminate its relationship with any child who infringes on the safety of themselves or others by consistently violating the boundaries and conduct requested of them.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

• For each registration, there is a $55 non refundable deposit built into the cost.

• If you cancel 21 days before the start date, we will provide a full refund minus the $55 non-refundable deposit.

• If you cancel between 20-7 days before the start date, we will provide a 50% refund.

• If you cancel within 6 days of the start date, we cannot offer a refund of payment, but we can offer some credit on a case by case basis.
