Pizza Oven Building Workshop

 

 

 

Join us for a two-part workshop (Sundays, May 19 & May 26th, 10:00 am - 4:00 pm) to learn how to build your own earthen bread and pizza oven from clay and sand. We will explore the entire construction process from foundation to roof, and spend the days building a simple, functional, beautiful earthen oven. This workshop includes hands-on construction, lecture, and presentations covering building fundamentals that include siting, design, structure, moisture protection, materials selection, heating and insulation. The weekend workshop will be lead by educator, grower, and ecological designer Mark Krawczyk of New Haven, VT. Age

This program is geared towards adults and mature teens. If you have a child under 15 who would like to come, please let us know.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

• For each registration, there is a 20% non-refundable deposit built into the cost.​

• If you cancel 14 days before the program, we will provide a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit.

• If you cancel between 13 and 8 days before the program day, we will provide a 50% refund.

• Within 7 days of the program day, we cannot offer a refund of payment, but we can offer some credit on a case by case basis.
